With Sotkon Koncept underground system you can use the collection vehicles you already have. Our patented solution provides a 3m3 closed bottom container which can be collected by common rear loading vehicles. This means that it is possible to install underground containers and to triple the capacity without additional investment on new vehicles. Less collection vehicles means less resources and less maintenance costs, but also the active contribution to the reduction of CO2 emissions and of the environmental footprint. Easy handling and low maintenance allied to the possibility to carry out the collection process with a single worker, contributes for the use of fewer resources. The waste collection operation is carried out by a single worker (the vehicle driver) in two or three minutes if using Sotkon systems. The collection operation is faster, safer and optimized. And it can be improved even more with the installation of an automatic single hook where the crane can automatically grab the underground containers and move them to the waste collection vehicle. The simplicity of design of the Sotkon Koncept solution makes it possible to combine the advantages of underground waste systems with very low maintenance costs. To lift the pedestrian platform, the system uses industrial gás cylinders instead of complicated hydraulic mechanisms. For the upkeep of the Sotkon equipment is only required the occasional cleaning or hygienisation and oiling of the opening mechanism. This means less use of resources in equipment and workforce.
