Low maintenance

Apart from giving an attractive appearance to the intake column, stainless steel has greater resistance to corrosion. Therefore, there is no need to be applied any protective coating. The intake column structure possesses a hinge and a rubber seal on the lid. Apart from oiling every other month or rubber replacement when worn out, no maintenance is required except the essential washing and hygienisation of the equipment from time to time.

Sotkon makes available several optionals for the intake columns in order to improve functionality and aesthetics, adding value to the equipment as a whole. For the IKONIC intake column we suggest:

- A soft-close system for the lid for noiseless closing
- Pedal to open the lid for easy access to the intake bin
- Ø600 mm interior opening
- Customized signage or decoration for the exterior of the bin

SOTKIS is the perfect solution for cities with or wishing to have PAYT (pay-as-you-throw) systems implemented. The system collects information each time an access key is used and converts that data to valuable management information. Data is centralized and presented via an internet portal managed by the municipality or waste collection operating company.

Choose your decoration

Produced in stainless steel for attractiveness and endurance, the intake columns can be customized with any kind of signage or decoration following customer’s corporate image, needs or wishes. By placing detailed and informative signage, the end-user will identify and use the receptacle easily and regularly. The body of the equipment can also be used as an advertising platform as a steel frame with a customized panel can be installed, adding value to the equipment.
